[摘要] 急诊科是重症、危急症高度集中科室。也是社会医患人员流动性最大且病情较复杂的医疗护理的重点场所。作为急诊科的护士应该正确及时的选择疼痛评估工具，能有效地对患者的疼痛进行管理、干预和治疗，提高镇痛水平。以下对急诊外科就诊患者的疾病疼痛的特点(急腹症)、疼痛评估方法、常用的几种镇痛药物在护理临床的应用做一综述。
